HELP!

I have a 8 hp Mariner Outboard, the serial Number is OC112773. Can anyone help me with the year of this engine. Also, should this engine have a "pee-hole" for the water cooling system?

That is a 1989 model and yes it has a tell-tale.

If you pull the hood off you should see the little hose going to the back right corner of the lower pan (if you are standing behind the motor).

If you are sitting in the boat with the motor running - looking back at it you would see the pee stream exiting kinda sideways from the back left corner of the motor.
