Green grease for outdrive and gimbal bearing?

Could I use synthetic/waterproof Green Grease for my Mercruiser outdrive pivot points and gimbal bearing zerks?

As long as it's high temp rated for bearings. Per Bondo..."Any grease is better than none at all." I prefer Merc. 2-4-C grease for pivot points and a quality bearing grease for the gimbal bearing.

Might want to just go with gimbal bearing grease that you can get from any mercury dealership
