Fuel pump to replace VRO

I am dumping the VRO, going to premix and either want to rebuild my VRO pump (blocking off the oil side) or get a dedicated non-VRO fuel pump. I am puzzled as I see a number of fuel pumps pictured online that are claimed to be compatible with my 1988 110 hp Johnson but they only appear to have two nipples. Is that possible? They must have inlet, outlet and pulse ports, correct?

Nope------On the intake manifold near the starter is a spot where a 2 nipple fuel pump mounts directly over the pulse port.----Just look for that spot !!

The VRO is off so it is easy to see in there but all I see is the pulse limiter. I do not see any other holes where the pump would bolt to. Is it in a different area than the pulse port/pulse limiter?

???----Not sure where you are looking !----I clearly stated that there is a spot to mount a conventional pump over the pressure pulse port.------The pump mounts with 2 screws 10-24.---In between those 2 screw holes you will find the pulse port.-----You remove that plug !------The pulse limiter was not mentioned in post #2 sorry .---You remove the pulse limiter and plug that port.----As usual when you figure this out you will say ----" that was simple "

This looks like the mounting point you were talking about, directly above the pulse limiter. Correct? Is there any reason to use a 2 port pump mounted directly to the engine vs. a 3 port attached to the pulse limiter? Six of one, half dozen of the other?
