Looking for any info on GPH for 1989, 502/8.2 Crusader, in a 42', aft cabin Chris Craft, 33,000 lbs. I want to install a Flowscan twin dial gauge, but not sure what scale to order, 0-24 GPH or 0-32 GPH per engine. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!!

The flowscans are horsepower rated, one model for up to 350 HP, another model for over 350 HP. I contacted them sometime ago because I thought it would be better in the long run to get the model rated for a higher HP than my 350 HP in case I had to re-power sometime. They said no problem in using the higher rated model.

My digital flowscan showed 24 gph at WOT on my 7.4 liter carb engine. I would suspect yours would be similar, that is, right on the edge of busting the 24 gph meter scale. BUT, if buying the analog scale, I might buy the 24 gph full scale, since precious little time is spent at WOT.

Thanks for info, and sorry for the late reply.

I know of the rating break at 350HP, but with the 502s they recommend the 50 GPH dial. The problem I have is the incremental steps of the 50 GPH dial are grouped in 2s, not single gallons. Just trying to get the sweetest sweet spot with those dual feed Hollys gulping away. Thanks for you time, and safe motorboating!
