"Hope someone out there can give a rookie a little help. I have a 2000 4-stroke 70HP Suzuki that will start and run fine, but is draining the battery. After a couple hours on the water, I shut down and when I attempted to re-start, it wouldn't fire. This was a brand new battery, so I thought I had other electrical problems, but when I connected a second battery, it fired right up. Once started, if I disconnect the battery, the motor will shut down, leading me to believe it isn't the battery. Any assistance out there is certainly appreciated."
