If he or anyone can answer some Yamaha related questions I will be pleasantly surprised.
The Yamaha C85TLRQ and the 90TLRY are both three cylinder two stroke models. However, they use a different arrangement to trigger the CDI into discharging the capacitor into the ignition coils.
The former using two pulser coils for its three cylinders and the latter using one pulser coil and one crank position sensor for its three cylinders.
Does anyone have any theory of operation as to how this is done?
a. What cylinder does the cps fire on the 90 HP model. Believe it to be #2.
b. What cylinders do each of the two pulser coils on the C85 fire, one of the two firing two cylinders and the other coil firing the remaining cylinder.
