"Went through some PM on my 45
"Went through some PM on my 454 crusaders today and found that my starboard engine cap had all brass contact legs inside distributor cap corroded badly (green color) even the centrifical advance area and other steel areas showing signs of rusting. The Port dist is fine and still looks new, slight burning at edges of contact posts inside the dist. ?? History: The distributor(s) are petronix flame thrower billet electronic, marine and 60,000 volt coils with 6 MM wires NGK plugs etc! (all matching components) and were installed less that 80 hrs ago. What could be causing this ??"
