Crusader exhaust manifold temperature

"I have twin FWC Crusader 350's in my Trojan 10 Meter. They run fine and temps seem normal, I read 163 on the thermostat housing using an infrared temp gun. Just for chucks I checked the exhaust manifolds, which are part of the closed cooling system, and they are running around 185 degrees. Does this seem normal? Seemed hot to me, but then again the motors are running fine. Anyone know what temps I should expect to see? Thanks"

"Sounds like they might be just a little hotter than they should be. At 163, I take it that is idle temp, then they should be almost exactly if not cooler than than 163. Doesn't sound like anything critical yet as long as they do not exceed 200+."
