Crusader distributor issues

Hello, I have 1989 454-350 hp Crusaders in my Silverton 40C, the engines have Prestolite distributors and I’m trying to locate the advance springs for the mechanical advance. I understand that they are very hard to find, any help would be appreciated, thanks, Tom

Not a lot of options...check with a local auto speed shop and see if they can connect you with someone with a sun distributor machine.
Next option is to find a distributor rebuilder on the www. They will likely want you to send in the old one...BTW, the other distributor is likely in the same condition so you may want to send both...
Last option is to replace them...many opt for the Delco EST system but they are hard to find...the aftermarket ones are ok but rather pricey... Davis unified ignition are real good but are a bit taller...

I also been unable to find parts for it. If your springs are weak that's ok for the most part. Weak springs just causes it to advance faster then necessary. If this is the case you can set full advance for around 28 to 31* at RPM above 1800 and be done with it. It will idle ok but maybe not as smooth but will not hurt anything

As makomark mentioned, the other course is Delco Est for direct drop in
