"crusader 270, running great all year, full tune up at season start, about a one third left on a tank of last years gas, with stablizer. I figured I should change the filter, after that, engine started, ran for five minutes and died. Now I'm wondering if I should have bleed the fuel line, but Im not sure how that would be done. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great."

"No, no gas to the carb, after it died, i tried switching from one tank to the other, but no luck. I even disconnected the fuel line to the carb, and turned the engine over, no fuel came through. Thats why I was wondering about bleeding the system, but I dont remember having to do that before."

Could also be fuel pump. Try d

Could also be fuel pump. Try disconnecting fuel line prior to filter. Pull coil wire so no accidental engine start. Be careful playing with fuel while spinning engine. If no fuel then could be fuel pump or fuel line clogged.
