Catalytic convertor coolant hose kink

I have a 2013 Ski Nautique (SN 200) I noticed that the coolant hose on starboard cat convertor was kinked. I replaced it with new hose but still kinked Because of acute angle required to connect it. Is this normal? What kind of hose can I use to correct it?
