Trying to adjust a carb and figure out where I need to go from here. This is on my generator but I think this is a pretty basic question that should apply to all carb troubleshooting.
The problem is that under load the engine does fine for a while then starts to stall out. If I immediately spray carb cleaner in the carb, the engine comes right back up to normal operations for a while (2-3min) then the cycle starts all over again. Does this mean that my mixture is too lean? or is my carb in need of a rebuild and a float adjustment? or neither?
