carb kit question

1996 Mercury 40 4 cylinder 2 stroke carbs are WMA-9-10-13 are the sierra carb kits any good compared to the quick silver ones about 30 bucks differance...what do people buy

If was me i would just get the gasket set welch plug and float needle for each carb and see how that goes. Just screw a sheet metal screw in the plug and pop it out then soak the carb in carb cleaner overnight. Run a soft copper wire in all the ports and blast it with high pressure water and air. To set the new welsh plug pict a socket half the width and gently tap it close to flat and seal it with loctite.
