put my boat in lake powell took off down the lake shut engine off & went for a swim started boat put it in foward & nothing!! only had reverse would not go in foward at all any ideas???

HI I dont know I guess its the oil thats been in it since I bought it? in 97 another guy seems to think that maybe shift cable came lose from the shifter in the drive??

the guy says it may have come out of the keeper on the drive its always worked great never a problem so I dont think its to serious so I have it at a sea ray boat dealer right now>
