Bleeding oil line 2 stroke Mercury 90

I am having issues with an air bubble in my 3/16 line that goes from the oil pump to the T to mix with gas.

How about some user history including how it might have gotten in there in the first place and what you have done to flush it out. I had that 90 and a same year 115 for at least a decade each and never had a problem with my deleting the pump on the 90 and going to pre-mix just to be doing it to improve first starts of the day after sitting up for months.
