Battery recommendation and questions please

I have Minn Kota endura 30 trolling motor and 12-7.2AH battery that seems inadequate for motor. Any thoughts on this?

Also any recommendation for possible replacement or even alternative auto type battery that works well?

Finally, also have Schumacher 600A auto charger with 2, 4, and 6 amp setting for slow, medium and fast charging. Can I use this to charge deep charge batteries perhaps on 2 or 4 amp slower settings?

Battery is too small. It will have a short life. Probably 2 amp charge, 1 would be better. I'd get a car size, deep cycle and keep it charged. It'll probably last 10 years.

I have a Minn Kota endura about 10 years old. I use a car size battery, about 7-8 years old. I don't deeply discharge and use a trickle charger.
