Merc cruiser 3.0 recently weathered hurricane Ian. Replaced rotor and cap.
Engine starts, pops at acceleration with no load in neutral. It will idle for a few minutes, then it kills. Only way to keep it going is by constantly pushing the throttle back and forth. I'm thinking water in the head tank?
