Alternator wiring

Anybody know how to wire a four wire alternator on a 4.3 mercruiser ? Son took the wires off the alternator an now can’t tell me how they go back on. A picture would probably be good. It’s a 92 Rinker .. Thanks in advance.

Orange to the output terminal
Black to case ground
the last 2 are sense and excite ,One is constant 12v the other is switched 12v

On some applications the sense lead is connected to the output terminal. Might want to find a wiring diagram for your model to be sure.
