alternator replacement

I have a 1986 crusader 454 that I am trying to buy a new alternator for but I can't match up any part numbers. It says motorola 8RG 2035A but I think that is the voltage regulator model number. How do I identfiy what alternator I have?
 
Well, I guess I don't need a new alternator after all. I took mine to advance for a test and after hooking it up 10 different ways(which really didn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling) they said it is working fine. When I removed the belt however, it looked pretty bad. Hopefully just a belt issue. We will know in 5 or 6 weeks.
