I have a 95 112 SPL. I was just wondering what engine was this based off of? Is it a 115 HP or a 120? Thanks

It is the tried and true OMC V

It is the tried and true OMC V-4 crossflow and maketed as a 112HP as it did not feature oil injection or power trim and tilt.The crossflow was marketed as 85 / 90 / 110 / 115 / 140HP.

I believe the 140 used the 90

I believe the 140 used the 90 deg looper block instead of the crossflow. Both great motors!
