68 33hp and 58 35hp head swap

Does anyone know here of the heads that DONT have decompressor, can be swapped between the 33 hp 1968 motor, and the 35 hp 1958 motors? Here are some more details in the form of screenshots, thanks, Tim

I think the head will work, just cut off the cowling mounting ears. Anybody tried that yet?

Hello, I had hoped that someone with more experience than me could answer the question. Guess I'll just have to send out the older head, see if it works.

I will try it for sure and report back. The foot print definitely looks to be the same.

Okay its on the way.
Just cut those mounting ears off and it will look better too. Hope it works.

I got the part last week and I thank you for it. I will be ordering a new head gasket, clean up the head and try it out.
The only main difference I see right out of the box is that my OG had a cover over the head, I don't think it will matter that the one you sent does not have a cover.
I will keep you posted
