5.0 Cobra with a freeze plug gone, would you buy the boat?

1997 fair shaped 21foot Reinell with OMC 5.0 Cobra with 560 hours on motor.
Seller is moving and needs to sell tomorrow. Would anyone purchase a boat specifically the engine with freeze plugs rounded & 1 completely missing? Block doesn't appear to be cracked, but due to dead battery I couldn't here the boat run. Please see the attached pics & let me know if anyone would take the chance on such a project for $2K.

If block is cracked and you have to pay a shop at $100/hr it may get expensive.-----If you can manage the work yourself it might be a good deal.

Ayuh,...... The odds are, the block is cracked, as the only way core plugs are pushed out, is by freezing,......
'n if that's a Ford 5.0l,... double the price of parts to fix it,.....
A fair price, would be free, haul it away,.....

I made on offer of $1500 as I could part it out if the block is actually cracked, but if not, could be a hella-win!!!

That’s a tough one. Only way to know is replace the missing plug & run it check for leaks & water in the oil. Boat & drive/transom mount look good. If he wants to sell tell him to replace the plug & let u run it.
