Engine stopped. Seem all electrical was dead. Since have started but once it starts it will not stop until you shut off the fuel. Other electrical items including the fuel pump continue to operate unless you pull the power line to them. Put new switch in but it made no difference.

first, you should have put this in the volvo section vs. the Crusader section.

Try disconnecting the alternater wires (mark them and then tape them up individually), reconnecting the "power line" and see if the key's OFF function returns...

New to this, both the forum and IO, always had outboards. Thanks, I will try that. Next step will go to a repair shop, I don't want to mess it up completely.
