I am in the process of buying a boat that has a 2008 150 Four Stroke that has been sitting in storage for 3-4 years. The boat/engine has never been in water. I did a visual inspection under the cowling and the engine looks pristine like it was never used. There are no visible leaks, dryness, etc. The rubber tubing are still in flexible shape with no brittle or crackling. I understand that I will need to go through a few items before turning on the engine. The gas needs to be remove. Is there any obvious tuneup I need to address other than the usual 20/100 maintenance? I am looking to get this to a mechanic but I don't want to be told that everything needs to be replace since the engine is basically new. Thanks in advance.
