2008 mercury 20hp 4 stroke PROBLEMS

Hello everyone, i have a 2008 mercury 20hp 4 stroke the motor idles great, he carb has just been rebuilt, spark plugs changed compression checked, power tuned. The motor still when giving it throttle it bogs down and some times will shut off. It will some times give a little back fire type noise. I cant see to figure it out seeing if anyone else had these problems.

Are you running last years fuel from hunting season, old fuel could have contaminated newly rebuilt carb and entire fuel system. has fuel filter been checked,fuel pump?

I have used new fuel this season it started to do it slightly at the end of hunting season last year but it is worse now than it was last year. The fuel line going from the tank to the motor was replaced, the fuel filter replaced, the screen in the tank was taken out and checked for something blocking it.
