2004 Mercury 150 optimax

I was fishing a tournament yesterday and i was just idling around when the engine quit running. i checked the primer bulb and it was not primed. so i pumped a few times and then tried the engine again and it run real ruff. it spittin and spuddering. i was able to get it back to the dock but barely. today i thought it may be the water seperator filter. but it was clean, but i still replaced it. I then did a compression check on all the cylinders to make sure they were all ok before trying to start it again. they were all 120 pounds. i tried to start it again and it still did the same thing. I am going to take to the marina tomorrow to get it checked . anybody have any thoughts???
 
Blocked vent on the gas tank - low pressure fuel pump going - VST filter clogged up - a hundred other things. The DDT (computer) should let the tech know what's up. Just hope it's something minor and you only get gouged for the cost of the diagnostic :)
