"The engine is a 88 mod.After a running warm problem,I changed top gasket,replaced the top with a second hand top,from an evinrude-store.Because of corroded bolts,and put it together without the thermostat, temporary. After several starts,no water come out of the engine.The engine only ran for max half minute,with prop good under water,and impeller seems to be ok. Blowing in the piehose,it sounds in the exhaust,filling water,getting out as well.
Next,connecting garden hose to the pipe from the impeller,with a home made rubber seal on top,water pour out of tho holes few cm over somewhere,still not flowing through the engine. I suggest the reason is a sealing,similar to the one on the bottom of the pipe whitch was damaged . Can some nice people give me advice on what,and how to do?"
