1998 Johnson 70 hp fuel problems

The motor does not seem to be getting fuel. I replaced all fuel lines and filter from tank to pump. If I open the primer solenoid and squeeze the bubble on the fuel line - the motor will idle as long as i pump fuel to it. Give it throttle and it dies. ..... If I keep it choked.. it will idle a few seconds. If I start it with throttle up.. it runs away with itself and dies. HELP!

Sounds like carb repair time.

It's a VRO carb and I did not see a repair kit on this site. Where can i get a rebuild kit?

i put another VRO fuel pump on and i am getting gas Great... drained carbs...trash... How do i safely clean carbs w/out haVING TO RETUNE etc.. please fill in the gaps!!!
