1995 150 johnson 2 stroke

Good evening, I just purchased my first boat. I bought a 1995 stratos fish and ski with a johnson 150 hp 2 stoke. I am new to the boating world and wanted some feedback on which brand of spark plugs you guys prefer. Also the motor starts and runs well but after it warms up the idle seems to lower a little bit and it has a slight cough which causes it to stall. Any suggestions?

I also noticed when you first start throttling it up you can definitely notice a slight miss but when you go full throttle it runs like a scalded dog. Also, Does anyone know what the spark plug gap is?
