Motor runs great once you get

Motor runs great once you get it in gear and running. Motor doesn't want to start very good. I hear the choke solenoid click. I end up pulling the cover off and pushing the choke linkage down a little bit. Maybe 1/8th of and inch. I turned the throttle up so I could get it in gear. It runs great running full or half throttle. But once I come to neutral the motor doesn't idle and stalls. I go to start it again and the same thing. Doesn't want to start. Once started it doesn't want to idle. I have to have the throttle all the way down and it has low rpms.. Any suggestions....

do you have a manual? check the idol adjustment screws. I found one of the carb floats with a hole in it on mine.
