"hello, I,m having a problem figuring out why the warning buzzer stays on while the motor is running.I unhooked the oil senser wires and the heat sensor wires to test it that way and the buzzer still sounds as soon as the key is turned on. what started all the problems was that I put a 200hp motor on a 16 ft boat. when I took off in the water, the boat did a wheelie and got the engine soaked,Of course I was paying to much atention to not fliping it and did,nt see the motor. as I found a way to plane out, I was going 70mph when all of a sudden the motor quit. the motor would turn over so I tried to start it, and it wouldnt start. I opened the top hatch on the engine cover and smoke was comming out. oh ----,I removed the cowling and saw a small fire in the back lower case under the coils.some gas from the carbs must have run behind and got a mouse nest wet, that I knew nothing about, and the a-hole who owned it before me drilled a hole above the exhaust and guess what happened. I took a towel and soaked it with fresh sea water and drenched the area.after flaging down a chick on a waverunner, just as I was about to surcome to the weeds in a aligator infested lake, to pull me back in, When I took the ---- apart it melted the small black box behind the lower coils.A friend had all the wiring, coils cd box ect for that engine, and After replacing the box, 2 lower coils, all the tilt and trim selinodes the starter selinoid another small black box above the selinoids the idle knob, filled the oil tank with a gallon of 2cyc oil and everything worked and it started and the buzzer went off after the initial starting. after a couple days sitting I went out to start it with the muffs on and the horn would,nt go off. theres a 2 mo. wait at the mechinic shop. any one know what to try next. with the muffs on its peeing water, but also peeing out severl holes on the lower case. I,m not sure how to remove the heat sensers on the bak of the motor, I have 2 of them from the other harness, I have no gauges or rpm"
