1954 Century Resorter

Have a "project" 1954 Century Resorter. Got it running ( I'll post a video for reference ) and actually does pretty well. I would like to change over the points style ignition to a electronic to "ease" starting. It has a Gray Marine "115" Phantom 6 which I believe is based on a Continental inline 6 cylinder. Not sure what the direction of rotation is or if that even matters with the distributer. Any suggestions are welcome! A total newbe here!

I suggest having a distributor shop go thru the old distributor before making any changes...they may have other suggestions, too...
