I recently bought a boat that has a 120 Mercruiser I/O. I tried it and it appears to work fine in idle but when I advance the trottle it seems like it floods out.

rebuild the carb. sounds like

rebuild the carb. sounds like you might have trash blocking your internal filters.. Also check your timing.
