I have a '94 Merc 115hp outboard. I know my stator is bad but my trim/tilt isn't working either. I don't know if they stopped working at the same time or not. Could a bad stator cause the trim/tilt not to work? I sure hope that's what is causing it to not work and it's not something I am going to have to replace also.
