    The coolant pump can be rebuilt. Most require the pulley to be pressed off. The pump probably has a bronze bushing for a bearing and a seal. Both can be bought from a good bearing supply. I rebuild all my pumps. http://www.waterpumpman.com/ should be able to rebuild the pump.

    Raw water pumps either have a flat spot or a reversible anvil that squeezes the impeller. Compare both pumps. Buy new seals and rebuild or send the pump out for rebuild.     When the 2 batteries are connected, the 24v will try to discharge thru the 12v. 12v + 24v in series makes 36v. Your trolling motor will run fast for a short time. There are 12v to 24v chargers.
