    Over speed alarm

    I have a 2003 60hp Merc 4 stro I have a 2003 60hp Merc 4 stroke. While cruising (usually between 3500 and 4000 rpm) I am getting a solid tone alarm. The read out on my tach says "Overspeed" then "Reduce Throttle". There is no overheating (holds around 150) and the oil level is fine. Also...
