    4hp johnson 1985 full throttle jumps out of gear needs clutch dog???

    hi 1985 4 hp johnson under full throttle jumps out of gear once then stays there if i throttle up slowly no jump out of gear does it need a new clutch dog if so how hard to get part & put it in etc can i run it as is if i dont run it full throttle thanks again it shifts ok from n to F etc

    hi i have a 1977 rude 2hp starts right up runs few minutes then cuts out restarts runs on 1/2 choke then cuts out again restarts full choke then dies again motor is in mint cond was told only about 10 hrs on it was stored for years one person said the fuel bowl gasket breaks down and plugs up...

    upgrade 6hp merc to 9.8hp merc needs 9.8 carb? thanks

    hello mercs i have 1968? era 6hp merc is there a way to upgrade it to a 9.8 110 merc is it a carb swap or new jets or is it more than that? it appears that the 6 7.5 & 9.8 all have same engine specs bore stroke etc thanks
