    Shimming the exhaust housing

    How thick are the shims for the exhaust housing? I need to know how many I need to buy. Also, what seals should I replace while I got the housing off? I got way too much play, and I think that's where I'm getting the water in my upper. Does that make sense?

    Im going to seal my upper, need advice

    I believe I checked the movement of the exhaust housing correctly, and there is a bunch of movement. Is this the right place to check? I bet there is over 1/16 of an inch movement. Could that be a problem? I also forgot to mention, I had oily water seeping out of the piss hole by the water...
