    Hot exhaust elbow

    I have a Mercruiser 5.0 with A I have a Mercruiser 5.0 with Alpha drive. At idle my starboard exhaust elbow is running hot. At higher RPM it cools down. Does it sound like a problem with the pump in the outdrive or does anyone have another idea. Thanks
