    Loud thunk when wide open

    My 85 horse Force engine, when wide open occasionally "clunks" violently. It allmost feels as if the engine is hitting something. A loud, transom shaking knock. Doesn't happen at 3500, but 4500 RPM's or so it's every thirty seconds or so. Any ideas as to what this might be? Thanks much for...

    1983 85 hp Force hardly taking water

    I replaced the impeller and the motor runs well but doesn't suck much water. Gets hot quick. Haven't had it in the water yet. How much water should be coming out above the prop? Also the heat alarm doesn't seem to work. Anyone know how to test it? Thanks much for any help. Dan

    1983 force 85 impelleroil injected

    "recently purchased a cheepo b "recently purchased a cheepo bayliner with an 1983 force 85. Fires and seems to run well. Previous owner mixed oil into the gas. Does anyone know if these were injected? Worth correcting if they were? Also, it appears the impeller is no good. How do i access it...
