    2003 gearbox shifting

    I have a 1989 2003 with the re I have a 1989 2003 with the reversing gearbox in my j/34c. When I shift gears it shifts with a sharp noise (loud!) like the clutches are not working properly. This is in forward and reverse both. Anyone have knowlege or experience with this? Thanks DD
