    I actually had some success. I cleaned and rebuilt the carb but no luck. I assumed this would not fix the issue after I saw the carb was already clean and new parts installed from the previous owner. Next, I rolled the dice and spent $45 on a new coil pack and this fixed the stalling issues...

    I haven't done much yet. Installed new plugs. Tried the external and internal gas tank to eliminate any fuel pump issues. Changed the internal tank fuel filter and inspected the filter screen in the fuel pump. Before I dug into it any further I thought I would check with richierni in case it...

    I realize this is a very old thread. I'm just hoping the OP is still active on this forum and could share if the issue was ever corrected. This summer I purchased the same J4RLEEA motor and unfortunately have very similar problems as described above. I've done some basic troubleshooting...
