    Thanks all, the float was indeed put in upside down. I flipped it and she's back to running well.

    I think it could possibly be the float upside down. the cutout side of the float should be downward I think it was put in with the cutouts on top. I'm going to reinspect it. thank you. I did get it off Amazon.

    I thought that too but I tried flipping it over. It fit worse so I watched a video on it and saw the placement was correct. Thanks

    I rebuilt my 6704m venture carburetor and the replacement float and needle cave get bent every time I mate the float bowl to the carburetor preventing gas from entering the carburetor. The old float was a cork one but it worked. The replacement does not fit well. Has anyone had this problem...
