    I got it had to remove the lower housing it was connected to the head, looks like the motor blew up, chunks out of the head sidewall and pistons, I am going to start looking for a used motor, thank you all for the help.

    I got all the head bolts but on the lower side of the head there's 2 cylinders that are going out and in to the housing preventing me from removing it, they almost look to be motor mounts. what would the step be after removing the head bolts

    How big of a deal is it to do a new head gasket, would it be worth it to just buy a used motor for like $600?

    Spark looks good Sparkplugs are correct Top cylinder is 120 psi bottom is 60 psi This carburetor seem to be getting fuel It should be the right starting sequence Could it be because of the compression on that bottom cylinder?

    I got a boat a few weeks ago with a Tracker 40 on it (TE40ELETB), and the seller said the he thinks the timing might be off but it seems fine from just looking at it, it will some times fire once on just gas, but will not with starting fluid, I am very new to outboard motors and don't know where...
