    Motor surges at high RPM's

    I have a HONDA 225 (2002). Anything above 4200 RPM's the motor would surge, RPMS fall then increase as motor recovered then surged again. This was repetitive at over 4200 RPMS. Fixed: Removed the VST tank and complete overhaul/cleaning. Motor surging over 4200 rpms fixed.
