    Thanks Steve I have a manual but it includes the clipper circuit which I have removed per instructions. I only wanted to know if it makes a difference if the two black/white wires are exchanged.

    I’m working on an old evinrude engine and replaced the pusle pack and distributor bace sensor. I have removed the clipper circuit. I am having trouble wiring the pulse pack to the sensor. Does anyone have a wiring diagram that would show me how to wire those two parts together correctly?

    Thank you sir for the information , I have found the correct switch for it on eBay.. It takes a five wire switch for my control box. I thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions.

    I have googled and have a manual but neither one shows the exact wires connected to the plugs on the bottom of the shift switch. I have a pretty good comprehension of the written word so I would really appreciate if you could give me a chance. Thank you so much for your time and knowledge!
