    1991 Mercury 150 xr4 shift linkage

    I just put a new impeller in my 91 Mercury 150 xr4, and when I got it back together I shifted it to forward the prop does not spin counter clockwise and clicks clockwise, in neutral it free spins, and reverse it doesn't turn either way is this correct for this motor. Thanks
