    Fuel sending unit

    I forgot to ask another question on my Fisher 1990 fishing boat 18GT, my fuel gauge is not working. Someone told me that I may have a bad fuel sending unit. If it is bad where is it located on the boat and how do you check it and the gauge? Thanks.

    I have a Mercury 115 2 stroke 4 cylinder engine that has a serial number #0D037419 on the frame. Could you tell me what year this is and where you found the. information. Is there a repair manual specific to this engine? Thanks for your help.
