    1976 55hp Evinrude sitting 18 months

    I know this motor runs but it's been sitting. I changed the batteries and have new fuel ready. Does anyone know what other steps I should take before I try firing it. Maybe a chemical or additive or a flushing trick of some kind. Thanks, Rich W.
