    89 Evinrude 40 HP ran great, for about 150 feet

    New user. I don't remember my old user name or PW, so I'm starting over. I bought an 89 Sea Nymph with a 40 HP Evinrude twin about 7 years ago. The motor never ran right. It would start and run but it would stay at fast idle. Eventually it would idle down, but after a short time it would sneeze...
